Enhanced Client Payment Options

You now have more control over how your clients pay when scheduling appointments.

If you require clients to submit credit card information to hold an appointment time (without actually charging the card at the time of booking), you can now choose to remove their ability to also pay for the appointment at the time of scheduling. This works great if you have a separate payment processor and want to use the Full Slate ‘credit card capture’ feature only for no-shows. This works the same way if you require clients to pay a deposit at the time of scheduling.

Also, you no longer need to have prices on your services in order to use the ‘credit card capture’ feature.

Please see the help file to learn more about collecting credit card information at the time of scheduling.

Thanks for the feedback everyone…please look for more updates to our client payment features down the line!

Why Is This feature in Not available for Pay Pal Checkout Express? We use Square Up and regular Pay Pal for our business. Lots of our clients would like to pay in full but I don’t want to require it.

Hi John – Sorry, we’re not currently able to support that based on the way PayPal integrates with other services, but I’ll let the product team know this is something you’d like to see. Also, we don’t support Square because they do not offer a way to integrate with their platform. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at support@fullslate.com. Thanks!

  2. Maybe I’ve missed some details, but how long does it take for a deposit to hit the bank? My client paid online but all I see is a dollar sign by her name. Is it possible to notify (by email) when such transactions have been made so that we don’t bother the client about payment?

    • Chris says:

Valerie – There’s an option under Messages > Alerts to be notified by email when someone buys a gift certificate online. How long it takes for the funds to be depoisted in your bank depends on which processor you’re using; it can be anywhere from instantly to 7 days.
