Sell Packages and Track Usage

You can now sell packages online using Full Slate! Give clients a discount for buying multiple services in advance and then track usage against each purchased package.Packages landing page

Clients can buy packages on your landing page, website or Facebook page. They can even buy one as a gift and email the package voucher to the recipient.

To set up packages, go to Setup > Gifts & Packages and click ‘Add package’. Give the package a name, assign a service to it, and set the price and number of services. If you haven’t already, enable client payments under Setup > Client Payments; you can still sell packages on your landing page even if you don’t want clients to be able to pay for appointments at the time of booking.

A redemption code is issued with each package, which clients can enter when booking online; this automatically reduces the number of appointments left on the package. Also, under the Sales tab, you can create new package vouchers and decrement the number of services left on a package.Packages tracking3

Usage on each package is tracked under the Sales tab, as well as under each client record under Clients > Details so you’ll always know how many services are left on each package.

Please note that packages are part of Gifts & Packages (along with Gift Certificates), which costs $5/mo, but you can try Gifts & Packages free for 30 days.  Even if you drop the Gifts & Packages add-on and stop selling certificates and packages through Full Slate, you will still be able to use the Sales tab to redeem any outstanding vouchers.

    If a client cancels their appointment after using a package, is there a way to put the credit back? I manually went in and increased the services by one, but it now shows “2/3” instead of restoring it back to “2/2”.

      Hi Caleb – The system continues to count the used unit. After you added another unit, there are two left for the client to use, which should agree to what you want. If you have any questions on that, please don’t hesitate to contact us at support@fullslate.com. Thanks!

      Hi Jasmine – You can set up packages under Setup > Gifts & Packages by clicking the ‘Add package’ button. You’ll also need to set up client payments under Setup > Client Payments in order to take payment for packages. And you can create new package vouchers to give to clients, as well as manually decrement packages, under the Sales tab. Hope you like the new feature!

    I like this feature and would love to use it but I already use Intuite Gopayment to accept payments by credit card any idea when Gopayment will be available as a payment option on fullslate?

    We use Intuite Gopayment for in-person purchases, and Full Slate combined with Paypal for online purchases.

    Hopefully the development team is still working on the packages tool — it would be nice to be able to manually add the packages that our customer’s have which we have sold in person prior to this release.

    Please add more flexibility to the packages feature, and also considering implementing a membership/subscription type of option. We would certainly use it!

      Thank you for the feedback. You can add existing packages to Full Slate today. To do this, go to Sales > Gifts & Packages, click Add, and then create the existing package. Or you can import a list of previously-sold packages; if you’re interested in this, please contact us at support@fullslate.com and we can send you an import template.

      And yes, we’re considering a membership/subscription feature.

    I agree with Michael R – a membership/subscription feature would be wonderfull. We offer memberships and do all of our billing thru Intuit and all payment tracking and massage usage is done manually.

    If you add a package for a customer and you schedule their appointments internally where do you enter the code to decrement the package for each unit used? Or are you saying it only works internally if you manually go to each package for each appointment? As we schedule most of our appointments internally this is disappointing if that is the case.
